Tech Integrated Healthcare

These sketches are from a charrette centered around the future of healthcare. They may seem farfetched or bizarre to some, but to me, they are attempts at addressing healthcare hesitancy and the desire many folks have at living a more health-conscious life.

Health Band

Band is a light weight, wearable piece of technology that can sense and track health related data. Combined with smart learning technology, each band becomes specific to the individual wearing it. Customizations include reminders to drink water, to walk more, or even to administer insulin. These bands also activate custom experiences to the [portal]and [fleet] services.

Health Portal

Smart mirror that serves as a literal health portal. Users can access specialists virtually, see their doctors remotely, or even participate in group therapy sessions. On a day to day, these portals can stream cooking, fitness, or wellness classes to provide users with tools to achieve holistic health. Each portal reponds individualy to the user’s band and learns overtime to provide custom content.

Healthcare in the US is driven by private provider and insurance companies. Most folks equate going to the hospital as a cumbersome economic expense. By breaking down some of the ways we receive care and placing the power in the user’s hands, we can encourage more people to take charge of their health.

Health Fleet

Autonomous driving electric vehicles assigned to neighborhoods to help with access. From driving people to and from appointments, therapy, or community events, these vehicles can also help pick up groceries or fill medical prescriptions. Aside from the immediate benefits they bring to users, there is also a long term benefit of having fewer fossil fueled vehicles on the road.
